Hey, I just downloaded this today on my old iMac (yes I play games on a mac sometimes and can't afford to buy a new gaming pc just yet :/ don't mock me haha) Just wondering whether the Static model LOD affect fps much? and what is the default setting on as well? e.g. High, Very High... I tried with very low before and it did run quite smoothly but the static models looked like something from a playstation 1 game haha! Just curious to get insight from the forum users and players so any help would be great! :)

Have a great weekend of Halo ya'll!
Jake.

I discussed this with someone the other day and we came to the conclusion that you probably have to test it yourself to see if you get a good frame rate on the highest settings, and if not then try making tweaks to get more performance by lowering the level of detail, maybe turning off Anti-Aliasing if it was on; hell maybe lowering the FPS limiter to 30 if you can't do 60 consistently. To know what frame rate you are getting there are many tools out there. I recommend using one you are already familiar with if you have one in mind. Otherwise a few suggestions off the top of my head are Steam's FPS counter, Nvidia Geforce Experience's Frame Counter (won't apply I don't think in this case), Fraps & I'm sure there are other utilities out there designed with MAC in mind.

Yeah thats probably the best bet and tbh just tried it on medium and its seems to be working decent enough and the models are much less blocky than before which bearable haha! Guess the graphics don't matter too much us this instance since I've played the game before a million times! I'll try the fps limiter too as well! Thanks a lot for your help, very appreciated! :)
