Background:
This only happened so far with this specific map (halo mods v3 beta).
I am playing online with 2 buddies, let's name them (A) and (B).
Despite me not being port forwarded, I'm able to host a multitude of random games (including custom maps), and sometimes random players were able to join in, so I am inclined to believe that the lack of port-forwarding isn't the issue.
However, when it comes to the specific named map, (A) is unable to download the map, despite the fact that (B) is on the same network as (A), and (B) could download the map when I hosted the game. Additionally, even after I file transferred the map to (A) [for (A) to place in his map folder], (A) is unable to launch a game with that custom map.
I've also tried to get (B) to host a game to test if (A), but no one can see (B)'s sessions [I'm assuming that's port forwarding issue lol].
I also tried to get (A) to unblock the map under the file properties, but that didn't help either.
I'm wondering if there's anyone out there familiar with this issue and knows a fix,
or at least have any knowledge relating to how to troubleshoot this problem, as a means to find a solution.
