Hey here are the addresses to fix the hit detection or in reality swap the bipeds.
A side affect is all players will have a sp Spartan biped so no elites will show up. however the players fp view will still show elite hud.

Byte values:
  • Master Chief = 0 (hit detection fix)
  • Arbiter = 1 (crashes do not use)
  • Spartan =2
  • Elite = 3

These will be included in the upcoming server management utility but you can use these right now if you prefer.

So if I edited these memory values and played on a dedicated server for example, would this work (assuming I'm not host on the server)?

The server has to be the one to set these up.

Yup. This is one of those 'Need to be host' in order for it to work.

EDIT:

I found that if you amended this to your peer hosted game, all players get the shield strength and health threshold as Master Chief does in campaign (Sword lunge takes out shields but doesn't insta-kill you) on Normal Difficulty
