Screen tearing problem

So I installed the game with the mod, but I am having severe screen tearing when playing on full screen. I have tried enabling v-sync from nvidia control panel (nvidia 860m), but the problem persists. Windowed mode reduces the screen tearing, but the game isn't as smooth. What else can I try?

Had same problem. Look up dark souls fix and that will work.

Hey! I've been having the game for some time now but still kept searching for a solution to this. F7 for borderless causes frame drops and lag, and Full Screen severe tearing. I couldn't even get RivaTuner's Scanline Sync to work.

I wasn't able to find anything when searching regarding the fix for darksouls. How have you been able to get the tearing problem fixed?
