Why is it interesting? What controller do you use? Edit: I've actually found that it's way easier to beat people with a controller. It could be because I've mostly played console most of my "gaming career".

Since you've tried reinstalling the only thing I can think of is your hardware. What are your computer specs? Edit: In the past I had a terrible Windows XP. I was able to install some games and get them to run for a short time before they inevitably crash.
