i. Information

This map is a re-do of the map 01b_spacestation, aka 'Cairo Station'. The aim of this mod is to give a Halo 3 esque
feeling to the campaign and to give a fresh spin on the Halo 2 campaign. In this mod you'll fight alongside the UNSC
and the Arbiter's Elites. Your enemies are Brutes, Jackals, Grunts, Hunters and Buggers.
This level as a whole is more difficult than the original due to how bulky the Brutes are.
I suggest that veteran Halo fans play this on Heroic/Legendary and those who are new to the franchise play it on
Normal/Heroic.

ii. Install Guide

Simply extract the map file from the zip, using 7zip or any zip extraction program and place the map file on your
desktop. Make sure to back up your original spacestation.map from your Halo 2 directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\maps is the default directory, go here and replace spacestation.map
with the one extracted to your desktop.

Anytime you want to play the orginal map, place your backed up map file into the directory and over-ride.

- Elite Rangers have no jetpacks and act as Arbiter's special forces.
- Squad size changes (enemies and allies)
- Starting weapon changes.
- Utilised removed squad encounters from Bungie.
- Added Brutes and Jackals, when there previously wasn't any.

Hey SOD! I loved the advanced modding in this level. The concept and idea is really good. I just have a few points about this map. I've played this on Legendary, and let's just say this is really hard to beat. There are too many Brutes, and not enough ammo & 'nades to combat them. As others have stated before, the Brutes and Jackals will sometimes freeze in place, and will only move once they see you or your ally. Also, on the outside areas, there are far too many Drones, and not enough BR ammo and/or cover to combat them. I've uploaded a Legendary playthrough of the map (with timestamps in the description) if that's okay with you, if not I will take down the video immediately. The video will sometimes lag, but it's due to my game lagging during recording. For some reason, this map is real laggy for me at times, and has never happened to me with other maps. Anyways, really enjoyed this map!

I realise that the map is quite difficult, but that should be toned down a little in the future installations.

As for the annoying Brute posing, I never figured it out. Maybe one day I will, then I'll go back and re edit and release an updated and balanced version.

I'm not sure why the map would be lagging :/ I'll watch your playthrough, hope you enjoyed the map!!

It's most likely my fault it's lagging. I play on a really shitty laptop which probably can't handle the map, but I will get a good/decent PC in the future. And I did enjoy the map!

Even my gaming Pc has been spazzing out sometimes with Halo 2, the fps just tanks.
