Mass Luminosity and Cooler Master have partnered to launch the limited edition Mass Luminosity Recon Gaming Mouse!
This one-of-a-kind gaming mouse replaces the CM Storm logo with the Mass Luminosity human power icon, a symbol created exclusively for the global Mass Luminosity gaming community. The 'human power icon' is a unique combination of the 'power button symbol' indicating that a control activates or deactivates a particular electronic device, and the 'Helvetica man' originally designed in 1974 for the U.S. Department of Transportation to represent a person. The icon has come to represent the raw power of our large global community.
The Mass Luminosity Recon sets itself apart by taking elements of the most popular mice on the market and improving upon them based on feedback from gamers and reviewers. One of the main gripes of hardcore gamers is the way a gaming mouse feels to the hand, so the Mass Luminosity Recon has a rubberized grip and an ambidextrous design to appeal to all gamers. For precision control, the Mass Luminosity Recon utilizes the best optical LED sensor on the market - the Avago 3090 - which allows an 800-4000 DPI range. Story
Mass Luminosity reversed the traditional business model by first creating a fan base, without having a specific product or service for the general public. Our motto and guiding principle is "Bring the fun back to PC gaming!" And for over a year we have done just that, via constant promotions and giveaways for our global community.
During the process we realized that we had a unique opportunity to introduce branded gaming products for the PC gamers that followed us from all over the world. With this is in mind, about seven months ago we started chatting with our friends at Cooler Master about manufacturing the first Human Power branded-mouse exclusively for our fans.
Our first concept meeting with Cooler Master was on August 4, 2012 (see photo) and since then we have gone through the long process of selecting the right mouse from the entire CM Storm product line. One that would provide our fans with unparalleled quality, superior performance, and a great price. Then we wanted to make sure our Human Power icon would be added to the mouse at the manufacturing point, and not just pasted as an aftermarket add on. The results of these seven months of design, planning and manufacturing processing is the beautiful limited-edition Mass Luminosity Recon Mouse.
