Turns out its the latest beta driver. I rolled back to the latest 780m driver from nvidia and everything went back to normal

I was actually testing the method out, although it crashed everytime

in swear between this and the 360 controller bug on halo 2... where button inputs sometimes glitch and switch. ie: the B button inputs A and X inputs B and so on
