Okay, I've got the game running, but I ran it from halo2.exe and not the cartographer launcher. I don't have it running right now, and I think it has something to do with .net 4.6.1, and I'm not exactly sure how to install that, but that's next.

I did, but I've spent too long on this today. Tried running it in a 32 bit wine prefix, got better results but no luck still. I'll try to follow that specific link more closely tomorrow, since he mention project cartographer in it. Wish me luck!

I haven't had luck getting the game to install, or getting it to run from the program folder I copied over from my old windows machine.

halo 2.5 has a lot of those. There's a valhalla map with ARs and shit, but I don't know if they still work with project cartographer. They worked before the master servers finally shut down though.
