A common issue with Halo 2 Vista is how on modern Nvidia cards, the anti-aliasing causes white lines on the map. HALO2ShaderOverride fixes this, but causes other issues by breaking transparent object shaders. This fixes the white lines without breaking anything else along with providing higher quality anti-aliasing through SSAA.

1. Download Nvidia Profile Inspector here.

2. Open it up and navigate to the Halo 2 profile.

3. Change your anti-aliasing settings to match this picture (lower supersampling settings, such as 2x2, can be used for lower end PCs. 4x4 is rendering the game at 16x resolution, and 2x2 does 4x. I generally recommend using 2x2 and only 4x4 at low resolutions).

4. Apply the changes and open up Halo 2

5. Enable anti-aliasing in the game's video settings, 4-sample is used in the image below.

6. Enjoy the better anti-aliasing!
