old school ranking is already done, however we are focusing on migrating our entire netcode from the Network tab to the LIVE tab in game. Also we plan to add much more primary features before we do ranking such as, banning and kicking from custom lobbies, friends lists, in game UI for our project, dedicated server functionality for all players, voice chat, map downloading, and various game fixes before we create a ranked playlist system that promotes competitive play.
It's best to have a stable game environment before we make the game become more competitive otherwise we run the risk of bugs causing unnecessary problems which will make people get upset if it affects their rank. Below is a video demonstrating the ranking system that was programmed back in 2014 by the H2Shark team. So don't fret, ranking will come soon. Just have patience and remember we are a team of 4 right now. If more people helped, then things would go much faster.
