Superbouncing...?

I'm new to the whole PC thing but got one for this game (I need h2 in my life). I tried superjumping in customs but none of them worked for me (I didn't even get a screen shake). Are there certain settings that I need to have for it to work?
Also, I just downloaded the Halo 2 game + Mod so did I automatically download the latest version of the game?
